LCD-LED Monitor recycling:
LCD-S RECYCLING Line by Compton Industriale
Line for recycling LCD and LED monitors.
The LCD-S RECYCLING line represents the technologically advanced solution for the efficient and sustainable recovery of all materials that make up monitors that have reached the end of their useful life.
MONITOR PREPARATION:
At this station, the operator removes the support platform from the monitor and starts it on the processing cycle. The workstation is equipped with a large elevated workbench that facilitates material input into the production cycle.
MATERIAL SORTING:
The line is equipped with two large material sorting stations with an extraction hood.
The entire system is served by an exhaust fan with an absolute filter to ensure safety for both operators and the surrounding environment.
NEON LAMP TREATMENT:
The treatment of Neon backlighting lamps is carried out in real time by the DSLAMP located directly below the sorting stations.
ADDITIONAL COMPONENTS:
The LCD-S line can also be supplied with a shredding and separation system consisting of a twin-shaft shredder, an iron separator, a belt for manual sorting, and a vibrating screen for separating plastics.
MACHINE TYPE: LCD-S
MAXIMUM PRODUCTION CAPACITY: FROM 480KG PER HOUR*
INSTALLED POWER: 16 KW BASIC LINE – 70 KW WITH SHREDDING LINE
WIDTH: 12000 MM
LENGTH: 10000 MM
HEIGHT: 3000 MM
WEIGHT: 2400 KG
NOISE: 82 DB**
VOLTAGE: 400 VOLTS (THREE-PHASE)
* Average capacity with 3 operators
** indicative measurement to be detected in the working environment where the machine is installed
Why Recycle LCD-LED Monitors?
Pollution reduction: Heavy metals and other harmful substances are extracted and sent to dedicated treatment chains, preventing their release into the environment.
Recovery of valuable raw materials: LCD-LED monitors contain precious metals such as copper, gold and silver, which can be recovered and reused in the manufacture of new products.
Conservation of natural resources: The extraction of virgin raw materials has a significant impact on the environment, and the recycling process can help reduce the demand for new resources while preserving the environment
How Does the LCD-S RECYCLING Line Work?
The LCD-S RECYCLING line is a complete automated system that consists of several stages:
- Monitor Preparation:
The operator removes the support platform from the monitor and places it on the conveyor belt to start the recycling process. A large elevated workbench makes it easy to insert the monitor into the production cycle. - Materials Sorting:
Two sorting stations with a vacuum hood allow manual separation of monitor components.
A vacuum cleaner with an absolute filter ensures the safety of operators and the protection of the surrounding environment. - Neon Lamp Removal:
An automated backlight neon lamp extraction and treatment system eliminates the risks of exposure to harmful substances for operators. - Materials Recovery:
Separated components (plastics, glass, metals, electronic boards) are conveyed to dedicated streams for subsequent recovery.
An optional shredding and separation system allows for further refining of materials.
Additional Components:
The LCD-S RECYCLING line can be integrated with the following additional components:
Shredding and separation system: Consists of a twin-shaft shredder, an iron separator, a belt for manual sorting, and a vibrating screen for separating plastics.
Conveyor belts: For automated transport of materials between different process steps.
Advantages of the LCD-S RECYCLING Line
High recovery rate: The LCD-S RECYCLING line makes it possible to recover up to 98% of the materials contained in LCD-LED monitors.
Automated process: The system is designed for efficient operation with minimal human intervention.
Safety for operators: The line ensures maximum safety for operators by eliminating risks of exposure to harmful substances.
Flexibility: The line can be configured to handle different types of LCD-LED monitors and adapt to specific production needs.
Respect for the environment: Recycling with LCD-S RECYCLING helps reduce pollution and conserve natural resources.
