Refrigeration Compressor Cutting System
COMPRESSOR
The COMPRESSOR system is an efficient and safe solution for cutting and recovering valuable materials from end-of-life refrigeration compressors.
COMPRESSOR is a semiautomatic system that performs precise cutting along the circumference of the upper shell of the refrigeration compressor. This allows the contained electric motor to be manually extracted and other valuable materials, such as copper, aluminum, and steel, to be recovered.
COMPRESSOR is a semi-automatic system for cutting refrigeration compressors derived from refrigerators and freezers. The machine makes a cut along the circumference of the upper compressor shell to allow the manual extraction of the contained electric motor and remove any residual oil. (All compressors must be previously cleaned of refrigerant gases).
The machine has a total power consumption of 1.6 Kw and is equipped with a hydraulic power unit that controls the gripper pressure. The gripper is handled by an inverter-controlled motor. The rotation speed can be changed at any time by a potentiometer. Hourly production ranges from 25 to over 40 pieces per hour depending on the type of blade installed and the type of compressor being processed. The oil contained in the compressors is recovered in a tank located inside the machine.
- Power supply: 400 Volts three-phase
- Installed Power: 2.5 K
- Hydraulic Circuit Pressure: 150 bar
- Noise: 70 dB
- Weight: 450 Kg
Main Benefits:
- Precious Materials Recovery: COMPRESSOR enables the separation and recovery of valuable components contained in refrigeration compressors, helping to reduce environmental impact and promote the circular economy.
- Efficient Process: The system operates quickly and accurately, ensuring high productivity with minimal labor requirements.
- Safety: COMPRESSOR is equipped with safety systems that ensure the protection of operators during work phases.
- Flexibility: The system can be configured with different options, such as interchangeable blades, to suit different types of compressors.
- Respect for the Environment: Recycling refrigeration compressors helps reduce pollution and conserve natural resources.
Cutting Process:
- The compressor is manually placed on the work platform.
- The hydraulic gripper firmly grips the compressor.
- The rotating blade makes a precise cut along the circumference of the top cap.
- The electric motor and other components are pulled out manually.
- The oil contained in the compressor is recovered in a dedicated tank.
System Components:
- Cutting machine with hydraulic gripper and rotary blade
- Work platform
- Control system with inverter for blade rotation speed control
- Oil recovery tank
